Journalists to follow on Twitter
Now wait. Before you go follow a slew of people, do yourself a favor and make sure you do these three things:
Have a picture of you as your Twitter avatar
Fill out your bio with information that actually describes you
Type a few tweets so the people you follow can get a sense of who you are
Also, I’ve linked to most everyone’s main blog pages, so you can add their RSS feeds to your Google Reader.
A disclaimer
This list includes just a small fraction of the journalists I follow on Twitter. I’ve been adding to this list for weeks now, but I just couldn’t keep up lately with adding all the new journalists I’ve found to follow.
Besides, Twitter is all about constructing your own community. Mine includes the following people, but maybe yours won’t. Follow who you please. These are just some of my suggestions.
